The task was to develop a short-term identity. The event I made up is based on the athletic TV show, Wipeout. The project involved creating a poster and designing a logo that can be used to advertise the event. I took it a step further by mocking up products that I could see being sold and given away at the hypothetical event. They are athletic-related items such as gym bags, water bottles, and athletic wear.

I felt that the moon behind the logo wasn't clear enough and that it simply appeared as an out-of-place circle. I added more detail and made several iterations in an attempt to find the balance between detail and simplicity.
